Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to design and operate secure, scalable landing zones and cloud platforms. You will own the architecture blueprint, set governance standards, and provide technical leadership across delivery teams for our Lot 1 engagement.
Responsibilities
Design cloud architecture based on AWS / Azure / GCP / StackIT principles.
Build and operate landing zones — the secure, governed foundation for client workloads.
Lead platform engineering and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Define cloud security architecture and network design (segmentation, connectivity, hybrid links).
Establish governance and compliance guardrails aligned with GDPR and ISO 27001.
Set up monitoring, logging, and observability across environments.
Own cost management at the architecture level (efficient, right-sized design).
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and consultants.
Must Have
4+ years designing and running cloud architectures.
Deep knowledge of architecture principles across AWS / Azure / GCP.
Proven experience building and operating landing zones.
Strong skills in IaC, cloud security architecture, and network design.
Working knowledge of GDPR and ISO 27001 and cloud governance.
Germany: German at C1 level. India: professional English fluency and ability to support German-hours delivery.
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with StackIT.
Platform engineering at scale (multi-team, multi-account).
Architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) — valued, not mandatory.
Experience in regulated / public-sector cloud projects.
