Permanent lead role coordinating environmental and social due diligence for development-finance projects: you run a high-throughput pipeline of short expert assignments and own the quality of every appraisal that leaves the team.
Responsabilités
- Coordinate a team of environmental and social experts across a portfolio of development-finance projects
- Own environmental and social appraisal quality end to end
- Run gap analyses of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments against Environmental and Social Action Plans
- Manage a workflow with a high ratio of short-term expert assignments: scoping, tasking, review and sign-off
- Interface with the client, project sponsors and lenders
- Maintain methodology, templates and reporting standards

Votre profil
- Environmental and social appraisal to international standards
- Gap analysis of ESIA against ESAP
- Project management in a high-throughput short-assignment environment
- World Bank Environmental and Social Standards, IFC Performance Standards, standards of comparable development banks (ADB, IDB, AfDB, EBRD, EIB) or Equator Principles
- Fluent English, written and spoken (C1+)
Qualifications
- Master's degree, or equivalent, in a field directly relevant to environmental assessments
- At least 5 personal project references completed after 2020, each 10+ expert working days
- References must cover both World Bank ESS and IFC Performance Standards
- Demonstrated coordinator or manager role on E&S appraisal and ESIA/ESAP gap analysis
